Has it really only been a week since Dreamforce ’16?!

It may just be 4 days long, but it’s the most action-packed 4 days of the year! Your CodeScientists were hard at work maximizing all the bountiful opportunities that Dreamforce offers. You really can’t beat this event for the face-time with clients, prospects, and partners plus stellar insights and education around every corner. This week, the mad dash continues with all the follow up activities. Let’s pause for a moment and recap some of our highlights.

1. CodeScientists shared knowledge at 7 sessions

Did you catch us on stage at DF16? From Dan Shahin talking about Visualforce Offline in the Developer Theater to Salesforce MVP Mohith Shrivastava presenting an Introduction to Lightning Out, we are proud to contribute expertise to the Developer Community.

Mohith's Line

The 20 deep line of people wanting to talk to Mohith after his presentation. Go Mo!

At the Partner Lodge, it was standing room only in the Reimagine Your Application with Lightning session with CodeScience CEO Brian Walsh. It’s obvious that many partners are taking Lightning seriously and rethinking how to interact with their customers.

Brian also moderated a Partner Roundtable featuring incredible insights from Avanish Sahai of InsideSales.com, Sean Hogan of Nintex Drawloop, and Chitrang Shag of Lattice Engines about their success in getting to scale on the AppExchange and the value that the Salesforce partner program provides to accelerate growth.

Of course we have to mention the Design Sprint Boot Camp that closed out DF16 on Friday. The C|S Creative Group led an interactive workshop showcasing the process and results achieved through Design Sprints for current AppExchange product ProsperVue. It was thrilling to see such engaged attendees. Q&A continued for almost an hour! We wholeheartedly appreciate people embracing design as a core part of their products.

2. We were the Presenting Sponsor of the Partner Lodge

The Park Central Hotel was home sweet home for the week of Dreamforce. With plenty of seating, charging stations and catering, the Partner Lodge is an oasis from the chaos. Many thanks to the hard work and dedication of John Richter and Rajiv Patel for another successful year.

3. All hail the Application Innovation Partners (aka AIPs)

During the Partner Keynote, we learned the roadmap for the Salesforce Partner Community. We also learned that we have a new name. ISVs are now AIPs. If you’ve seen our DF16 swag, you’ll know that CodeScience goes whole hog for ISVs, alluding to the fact that we support ISVs throughout the full lifecycle, beyond just the build phase. Post Dreamforce, we go whole hog for AIPs? It’s starting to sound like a zoo over here…

So now we go whole hog for AIPs?!

4. Einstein goes prime time

Einstein was a hot topic this year and a powerful move forward for Salesforce. More importantly, it validates the phenomenal entrepreneurs that we work with and the products they’ve brought to market. Lattice EnginesDigital Genius and Solvvy are shining examples of AI, ML, and NLP that provide immediate value to users today.

5. Face-time with our friends at the CodeScience U2 Pre-party

One of our favorite moments each year is our party. Everyone there helped create an unforgettable evening. From the engaging conversations to the endless libations to the glorious win from the SF Giants, we loved every moment. Thank you from CodeScience and our co-sponsors Lighter Capital and Nintex Drawloop. And apologies for any headaches we caused the next morning. Hopefully you picked up a CodeScience Hangover Kit from the booth.

6. We were selected to be in the new Salesforce Incubator

CodeScience is proud to be among the first batch of 14 hand-picked companies selected for the new Salesforce Incubator — located in the same building as Heroku, SalesforceIQ, and Steelbrick. We’ll be collaborating with cutting-edge talent, helping to bring the next hot thing to the Salesforce ecosystem. What does this mean for our customers?

  • The Incubator continues our close alignment with Salesforce product managers. We’ll be getting first-hand knowledge as new releases roll out and provide real-time feedback based on our experience. Then, we’ll translate that intelligence back to our customers.
  • We will be deeply embedded with decision makers. Again – providing avenues to maximize insights for our customers.
  • The opportunity to focus on the next generation of AppExchange products and apps for AI, NLP, AR, and VR. The cutting edge is here.

7. The CodeScience brand proudly flew over Howard Street for yet another year

It’s a beautiful sight to see the C|S branding in the midst of the Dreamforce bustle. We can’t wait to come back next year!
